About

Rossella earned her Ph.D. in Physics from Friedrich Schiller University Jena in 2023 under the supervision of Prof. Sebastiano Bernuzzi. She started her N3AS fellowship at Penn State, with David Radice’s group, in fall 2023.

Rossella’s research interests include topics in gravitational waves astronomy and neutron star physics. Her past work lies at the intersection between numerical and analytical relativity, and is centered around the development of semi-analytical models for gravitational waves from binary black holes and binary neutron stars.
