About

Daniel Finstad received a PhD from Syracuse University in 2021, where Daniel worked with Duncan Brown studying gravitational-waves from coalescing binary systems. As an N3AS Fellow, Daniel will be working at the University of Washington with Sanjay Reddy as faculty host.

Daniel’s research interests are in gravitational-wave data analysis, with a focus on measurements of binary neutron star systems and constraints on the nuclear equation of state governing dense matter inside neutron stars.
